The Artist
Why I make art
The majority of my childhood was spent ether in the woods, drawing, or having tarot readings with my grandmother. All I wanted to do was create beautiful things with my own two hands and escape everyday life. I went through some hard times as a child, which took a toll on my mental health, but I am working through it, and have found that being creative helps.
I am finding that making my art sessions, more of an art therapy session, is helping me go through my childhood trauma and start to heal. And I am hoping that it can help others on their healing journey too.
Life isn't always easy, but it is beautiful, and through my art, I am working to convey the beauty of life and nature all around us and to help others heal from their past and present struggles.
